The producers of an upcoming biopic about Steve Jobs are pitching Josh Gad, the star of the Broadway musical "Book of Mormon," as the man to play Steve Wozniak, Jobs’ friend and partner.

Directed by Joshua Michael Stern, and produced (and financed) by Five Star Institute's Mark Hulme, the indie biopic Jobs features Ashton Kutcher as the visionary genius, Steve Jobs, in his youth.

The film will reportedly focus on Jobs' rise from Northern California hippie to co-founder of Apple. Steve Wozniak is the computer whiz who made the first Apple computers. Without him, Jobs would have never created Apple Computer (now called Apple Inc.).
