14 DAY TRIAL // For the past few days, there’s been a lot of talk about how Fergie and husband of 4 years Josh Duhamel might be expecting their first child together. That isn’t true, Josh himself tells the media.
Reports about a possible bun in the oven for the Black Eyed Peas singer started to pick up over the weekend, right before the Super Bowl, when she was photographed by the paparazzi looking slightly plumper than she usually is.
Moreover, she was also wearing loose clothes that could have hidden a baby bump, if one was there to hide.
All this is just talk, Josh tells E! News on the red carpet, at the premiere of his latest movie, the romantic flick “Safe Haven.”
Asked directly whether there’s any truth to the rumors now making the rounds online, Josh says simply “No.”
He seems puzzled that people are showing this kind of interest in him and Fergie but, since they are, he’s taking the time to address the rumors, if only to deny them.
“You said it will be your greatest career achievement, so we're waiting,” the reporter tells him laughing.
“Greatest life achievement,” Josh chimes in.
Last year, Fergie too talked about the pregnancy rumors that seem to never stop plaguing her, laughing them off.
“[People ask if I'm pregnant] every time I fluctuate a few pounds. Like right now, I'm a couple pounds up,” she explained.
“Sometimes I go a couple pounds down and I wear the clothes that are more fitted, but people kind of look at me because they're expecting [that] it's that time. We do hope for children and that will be coming up, but it's not yet,” the singer added.
However, even with Duhamel’s denial, several media outlets are still saying that Fergie might be with child. At the same movie premiere, she donned a loose mini black dress, which, again, could have hidden a bump if she had one.
