One of the most hyped releases of the fall is, without a doubt, “Looper,” starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis. To promote it, Joe sat down for an interview with Gavin Newson for Current TV, as the video below will confirm.

Joe praised Willis and said working with him was a dream come true (not shown in the clip). He also talked about his other idols, many of whom he got to work with in recent years.

As for his character in “Looper” (a young version of Bruce Willis’ hitman), Joe says he doesn’t like him but he loves him unconditionally.

“He kills people for a living; he doesn’t have any friends or family; he’s a very sad, unfortunate soul. But you have to love your character like a mother loves her child, even if there’s not a lot to admire about them,” he says.

“Everyone is themselves and if you’re judging the charter from the outside you’re not going to be able to play them with much authenticity,” he adds.
