The world is still in disbelief that Warner Bros. would cast Ben Affleck as Batman in Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel” sequel, tentatively called “Batman vs. Superman,” but one actor is convinced that we’re in for one hell of a ride.

Reporters asked Joseph Gordon-Levitt at the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 what he thought of the casting and, as EntertainmentWise reports, he had nothing but nice things to say.

“That's gonna be great. Oh, but it's gonna be good. I think it's gonna be good,” Joe said.

The actor previously starred in Chris Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises,” opposite Christian Bale, who is considered one of the best Batmans ever.

In other words, he knows a thing or two about that.

Then again, if you think about it, what else could have Joe said? He was at an awards show to present and promote his most recent movie, “Don John,” and he was asked a question he had nothing to do with.

Of course he would say something nice and, you might have noticed, rather non-committing.
