When folded, it can fit in a pocket, unlike other “mobile” keyboards out there

We’ve seen our share of “portable” keyboards and keyboard docks, but none of them ever came close to the level of convenience offered by a phone or small tablet.

Scott Starrett may have finally created one that truly deserved the “portable” label: Jorno.

The Jorno Foldable Keyboard connects to pretty much any device with Bluetooth support, running iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, Symbian, even webOS.

Unfolded, it measures 8.5 x 3.5 x 0.3 inches (215 x 88.9 x 7.62 mm) while its folded form is a 3.5 x 3.5 square with 1.2 thickness (88.9 x 88.9 x 30.48 mm).

The project was started a few days ago and will close on October 17, 2012. It has already raised about a third of the funds though, which goes to show that it is a promising investment. After enough money is made, it should take less than half a year for mass production to start, by our estimates.
