Katie Price and husband Peter Andre have a new "addition" to their family

While pregnant, Jordan did not try to change to a more appropiate wardrobe

Katie Price (a.k.a. Jordan) has given birth this morning at the Portland Hospital in London. Peter Andre is the proud father of a baby girl that weighs 6 pounds and 13 ounces, and who was delivered by Caesarean section shortly before 9am.

The couple already have a 2-year-old son, Junior, while Jordan has another boy, the five-year-old Harvey, with footballer Dwight Yorke. Jordan underwent some very heavy criticism for the fact that she did a lot of drugs during that pregnancy, which rendered poor Harvey to be born blind.

Peter and Jordan have been trying to extend their family for a long time now, but last year saw the 29-year-old Katie Price suffer a miscarriage which reportedly left the couple "devastated". The bad times continued for the couple as Peter was hospitalized with meningitis. By contrast, the two proud parents are currently over the moon. The glamour model has decided some time ago to bring some joy to Peter and took a test to find out if the baby was a boy or a girl. Jordan has also said in a recent interview that she is very happy that now she can have a little princess along with her three boys.

Mother and daughter will remain in the hospital for some time before they decide to present their baby to the world. When questioned on what name she is going to choose for her baby, Jordan denied the rumors that she planned to name her baby Crystal, the title of her latest novel.

The happy mommy is anxious to get out of the hospital so that she can buy all sorts of pink decorations for her little girl's room. In a closing statement, the couple have requested that the media have patience over the coming weeks so that they can get used to their new baby and introduce her to Harvey and Junior.
