14 DAY TRIAL // Jon and Kate Gosselin may be getting back together any day now, as they’ve been talking about the possibility of a reconciliation, it has emerged. Both realize now that getting a divorce was not the best decision they could have made.
Friends close to both of them are telling PopEater that they’ve come to realize the error of their ways, as the saying goes, and are now willing to put differences aside to give their marriage another go.
This comes as a huge surprise, especially since the separation was anything but amicable. In fact, it was one of the most bitter and mediated divorces in showbiz, with both parties coming out of it with tarnished reputations.
Which is probably why Jon and Kate now believe they should have never gotten divorced in the first place and why they’re willing to try again and see if they can recapture some of the love they once shared.
“They both realize how much they miss each other. Neither one of them have been really happy since their ugly split and would love to turn back time to the point where they were both in love before fame took over,” a friend says for the aforementioned e-zine.
Jon now works for a renewable energy company installing solar panels and, since he’s been out of the spotlight, he’s also had more time to think through the events of the past couple of years.
He’s come to regret most of the decision he’s made, says the spy.
“Jon is in a great place. He is happy and knows what a fool he made of himself after his split from Kate,” the friend explains.
But Kate too knows that she’s better off with Jon because he’s the man she wants to grow old with. She’s learned her lesson since being single and knows that not all that glitters is gold.
“After the split the both of them were out of control. Kate thought she was going to be dating Brad Pitt, and Jon was sure he was going to be a superstar,” says the spy.
“Neither one of them found what they were looking for when they were single and have both come to the conclusion that maybe they are right for each other,” the insider adds.
