Following Clint Eastwood’s much debated speech at the Republican National Convention, it’s no wonder people are already talking about the Republicans making the biggest mistake possible by having him on. Jon Stewart is one of them.

On his most recent show, he calls Eastwood’s speech a “fistful of awesome” in a week of “scripted blah,” but he still rips into Mitt Romney, the Republicans and Eastwood with obvious delight.

Check out the videos below for what he has to say on the topic.

“There is a President Obama that only Republicans can see,” Stewart concludes.

That Obama is invisible to most and, yes, he was sitting on that chair that Eastwood yelled at during the Convention for 12 full minutes – unscriptedly.
