As they continue to make more fans by the day by doing nothing and being celebrities for the sake of celebrity, Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton are also making enemies among Hollywood's elite. Jon Hamm is the latest.

Much like Daniel Craig not long ago, Hamm is also speaking out against the celebrity culture that celebrates its own inflated sense of importance, thus making stars out of people who wouldn't otherwise even be noticed.

Unlike Craig, though, Hamm doesn't pick on the Kardashians but rather on the culture that has allowed them to become the highest earning stars of the moment – when they have zero talent to show off for this kind of money.

“Whether it's Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated,” the actor says in an interview with the latest issue of Elle UK.

“Being a [expletive]-ing idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you're rewarded significantly,” Hamm explains.

There's something wrong with our society: values have been inversed, and people like these two reality stars get to triumph even though they're not worthy of any recognition.

“Incuriousness has become cool… It’s celebrated. It doesn’t make sense to me,” the handsome star says.

As noted above, Hamm isn't the only A-list Hollywood actor to speak against reality stars. In a recent interview, Daniel Craig did the same, though he personally had a bone to pick with the Kardashians.

His comments came shortly after Kim announced her divorce from Kris Humphries, 72 days into the marriage, and she was asking for her privacy to be respected at what she called a very difficult time.

You can't televise everything in your life, from your proposal, your most intimate arguments, the moment you give birth, etc., and then demand for the world to take a step back when you see fit, he said, as we also reported at the time.

Privacy is not a commodity that you can just trade off, Craig underlined.

The Kardashians had enough money before they made a name for themselves as the biggest reality family of the moment. They've made fools of themselves by selling out like this.

“Look at the Kardashians, they’re worth millions. I don’t think they were that badly off to begin with but now look at them. You see that and you think ‘what, you mean all I have to do is behave like a [expletive]-ing idiot on television and then you’ll pay me millions’,” the Bond star said.
