Last week, some strong words came out of Jon Gosselin's mouth against former wife and mother of his children Kate Gosselin. The event wasn't likely any different than any other rants about his embittered wife, except this time it was all on TV, for the reality series Couples Therapy.

Now, insiders report to Radar that the entire scene where Jon goes into a hate-filled, expletive rant against Kate was all staged. On the show, Jon works himself up into a frenzy before finally saying that Kate can “go [expletive] die.”

As it turns out, the entire thing was set up in order to increase the drama of the show and bring in more audiences, evidently, but the fact remains that the phone call presented to viewers never actually took place, as the former couple are reported not to have spoken to each other on the phone in years. They just stick to sending text messages to one another.

“In fact, Jon and Kate haven’t actually spoken on the phone in years; they just text. But either way, the entire scene with Jon exploding and going off on Kate was just something he orchestrated to make himself relevant on the show and make sure he got screen time,” claimed sources.

The insiders claim that Kate avoided talking to Jon while he appeared on the VH1 reality show, knowing that it could turn against her. But that didn't stop Jon from launching himself in an expletive tirade when addressing her.

“It’s narcissistic, [expletive] behavior. And she can go out and talk about the kids anytime she wants! She can tweet and have a [expletive]’ website dedicated to them, every [expletive]’ book she’s ever put out because she wants to keep being on television which is never gonna [expletive] happen, so she can [expletive] die,” the former reality star raged.

Jon is being accused at the moment of using the show and air time to get back at Kate, when the initial aim of the program was to get him to work out his relationship with Liz Jannetta. Instead, he chose to vent his frustration and give Kate a piece of his mind, the rudest of terms.

Jon and Kate Gosselin used to be on a hit reality series called “Jon and Kate Plus Eight,” which documented their life with their eight children, but they eventually got a different view on celebrity and the show and ended up in a bitter divorce and a lawsuit.
