Jon Gosselin Takes Girlfriend to Sundance, Looks for Attention

By now, it is commonly accepted that Jon Gosselin would do almost anything for attention, media exposure admittedly being his main means of subsistence. Still, it was quite a surprise to see him at the Sundance Film Festival over the weekend, with his new girlfriend in tow nonetheless, E! Online writes.

E! spoke to people already in Sundance with business (unlike Gosselin and his new love interest, who don’t have any movies to promote and are in no way connected to the industry), and they all vouched the couple went out of their way to draw people’s attention. In fact, sources say, it was so obvious they were trying to be noticed it was almost painful to watch. Mr. Gosselin, it would seem, even resorted to walking up and down the same street several times to have the paparazzi pay attention to him and take his picture.

“They just kept walking up and down Main Street. They were holding hands, and it was pretty obvious they wanted everyone to see them. They kept walking up and down the same street over and over,” one spy says. Another one agrees: “Ugh, that huge douche Jon Gosselin is here. Great, he’s totally going to give Sundance a bad name. Go back to where you came from, or at least home to your [expletive] eight kids.”

To make the entire situation more believable, though he looked like a “fish out of water,” E! goes on to say, Gosselin pretended the one guy who stopped to take his picture was bothering him. That is to say, he tried to cause some fuss over having his picture taken – as if he had gone there to be away from the media attention – in the hope the other paparazzi would hear him and would come running. Unfortunately for him, not only did this not happen, but it also showed him for the clown that he is, eyewitness believe.

“It was weird though, it looked like the guy was hired or something. It seemed like there were a few paparazzi on Main, none of whom could care less about Gosselin. But this one camera guy made sure to go wherever Jon and his girlfriend were. It looked pathetic,” another spy tells E! about the one paparazzo that kept tailing the two.
