She’d call me a lame fish, he tells ABC’s Good Morning America

Just yesterday, we were telling you time and time again how Jon Gosselin, half of the “Jon & Kate Plus 8” show, did not like to do media interviews, save for the occasional, impromptu statements he gave to the paparazzi camped outside his home. His appearance on ABC’s Good Morning America is clearly the exception that makes the rule, since it was prompted by his desire to expose Kate Gosselin for the manipulative, abusive wife she was.

The media has long said that Kate seemed, if not downright aggressive, the kind of person who liked to rule with an iron fist and no gloves. What Jon is now telling the media is that she is actually more than that, as he can personally testify after having endured years of verbal abuse and being put down. What was the worst, though, is that not even once did she acknowledge that he too played an important part in the marriage, making it sound like she was doing everything.

“I took a lot of abuse from her. I was put down. She’ll call me like, almost like a lame fish. Like I wasn’t going anywhere.” Jon tells ABC, as revealed in the interview preview posted on the network’s official webpage. The abuse was only worse when he considered that he was at home with the children all the time, as opposed to Kate, who was constantly traveling. “Well, excuse me, I’m taking care of the kids. She’s on book tours, she’s doing all these things. You know, she’s gone a week. You know, comes back. Packs up and leaves again. I’m standing there like, ‘Oh, OK. Your mom’s gone again.’” he adds.

In the same interview, Jon Gosselin also hints that his life, including his marriage, might have taken a different direction, presumably for the better, had it not been for the reality show produced by TLC. Speaking of TLC, just yesterday, Gosselin reached out to the media regarding a statement that supposedly came from him, in which he said the television network was exploiting his eight children for the financial gain of all those head honchos.

“I’m not saying TLC is exploiting my children. But I do believe the media and tabloids covering my family and the show for their own financial gain are the ones exploiting them. I have said on numerous occasions TLC has afforded my kids a better life and has helped provide a better roof on their heads.” Mr. Gosselin explained a short while ago.
