Jon Gosselin, father of eight and star of the TLC reality series “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” is now dating Hailey Glassman, the daughter of the plastic surgeon who worked on his soon to be ex-wife, Kate. The other day, Hailey was saying that Jon had serious behavioral issues, often running from the truth and being emotionally abusive towards her when in a situation he could not cope with – claims that Jon himself confirms in a statement to The Insider.

Hailey says she loves Jon deeply, but, sometimes, she just wishes he’d be more mature about the relationship and his attitude towards her. She also insists she will not leave him because she understands most of this is due to his experience in relationships so far (namely, with Kate), for which reason Jon is most grateful. Moreover, he now tells The Insider he plans on making it up to his girlfriend as soon as he gets the chance.

“My girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, has paid a significant price to live under such a media microscope. I am grateful for her emotional support and I regret any pain that my actions have caused her as she has selflessly born the pressures I have endured under the media glare. I am committed to making things right with Hailey as well as Kate and especially my children. I ask you to please give me the opportunity to prove myself.” Mr. Gosselin tells the aforementioned publication of Glassman’s recent comments.

That Hailey has been under a lot of pressure from the media and the public at large ever since she first started dating Gosselin is something she too placed a lot of emphasis on in her own interview. For instance, she was saying the other day that everybody was quick to judge her as a gold digger of the worst kind, although they didn’t know her and, most importantly, they were not even aware she knew almost nothing of Jon when she agreed to go out with him.

“He’ll call me and take his anger out on me. He has ‘mantrums.’ I shouldn’t have to put up with being emotionally abused. I cry and say, ‘Why are you so mean to me?’ […] I’d never seen the show [with Kate]. I had no idea. People judge me before they meet me. I get threats everyday. I get called a home wrecker and a fat [expletive]. People will stare or point. It gets worse everyday. […] I don’t want to leave him all alone. At the end of the day, I love him but I dislike him at times. When I love someone I would never hurt them.” Glassman was telling the media the other day.
