As former wife Kate Gosselin is back at home with the eight children, Jon Gosselin and his latest lady friend are taking the Sundance Film Festival by storm, as the media puts it, much to the “chagrin” of real actors / celebrities. The two are putting on public displays of affection and generally acting in such a way as to
attract the most attention – and this also includes hiring bodyguards to protect them from perils that only exist in their imagination,
Fox411 writes, citing sources on the scene.
When Mr. Gosselin arrived at Sundance with Morgan Christie, the media thought it was just a one-day thing, that they had come to pose for a couple of pictures and then leave. Unfortunately, it was not so: the couple is still there, still doing their best to get paparazzi to notice them and, this way, make money of the pictures. In fact, Gosselin is so bent on getting people’s attention he even hired some bodyguards to escort him all over the place, it is being said.
“Jon made sure he was escorted into the venue with full security and he insisted on watching the performance with Morgan on the side of the stage, all alone, while real celebrities were in the audience with everyone else. Morgan was ALL over Jon during the performance. Then, when Jon was ready to leave, which was before the concert was over, he made security escort him and Morgan to his car. It was lame!” a spy tells the aforementioned publication.
The problem is, it is further said, that, no matter how much the two try, the paparazzi are still not that keen on snapping their picture for the mere reason that, well, photos of Gosselin are not as highly rated as they were a few months back. “Jon and Morgan are really making a spectacle of themselves and Jon expects star treatment everywhere he goes. He has turned into a total diva. He and Morgan have been setting themselves up at free events each day, they request security teams to help them and make sure the paparazzi are around to catch them,” another tipster adds.
Word of the couple’s desperate attempts at getting the paparazzi to notice them first made it into US tabs
the other day. The moment Jon and his girlfriend got there, they set to walking up and down the same street over and over again, with a hired photographer in tow, in the (vain) hope that other paparazzi will soon come around to take their picture.
