14 DAY TRIAL // It’s been over a month since we last heard of Jon Gosselin – and the first report about the much-derided reality star is quite surprising. Apparently, he’s gotten a real job and will no longer be pursuing a career in television.
Mr. Gosselin was named the most annoying person on TV for the entire year of 2009 but that didn’t stop him from saying a short while ago that he wanted back in front of the camera and was considering options to do so.
Now, OK! Magazine claims that he may have had a change of heart – and even gotten a “real” job because, after all, child support doesn’t pay itself.
“Jon Gosselin has gotten a real job!” OK! trumpets. “Before Jon and his former wife Kate Gosselin were on Jon & Kate Plus 8, Jon worked as an ‘IT Analyst’ as their show formerly stated in the opening,” the tab further says.
Sources are saying for the publication that he’s now back working in the technology field and is adamant to stay out of the spotlight for a while.
“Jon is back at work at a normal job not in media or entertainment. He’s working in technology, which he did before the show,” says one such spy.
If true, this is clearly a very difference stance from the one he took back in July 2010, when he said he didn’t know what he’d do next but that he was certain it would be in front of the cameras for television.
“I’m interested in going back on TV. I’m not sure about a reality show or whatever but I’m meeting people and seeing what is out there programming-wise,” Jon said this summer, as we also reported.
“I haven’t been on TV for a while – first time in about six months so I am just kinda laying low, focusing on my life, getting back with my kids and figuring things out,” he added at the time.
