Finnish startup Jolla is finally getting closer to the release of its first Sailfish OS-based smartphone, and has already confirmed plans to launch the phone on November 27.

The company has confirmed today at the Slush conference in Finland that the smartphone will be launched in the country on that day, and that users will find it in DNA’s pop-up store in Helsinki, mynokiablog reports.

Jolla unveiled its Sailfish OS smartphone several months ago, and started to take pre-orders for it online back in summer. The company kicked off the second round of pre-orders for the phone in September.

Earlier this week, Jolla announced that its users would enjoy mapping and navigation features from HERE, and that they would have access to Android applications courtesy of a partnership with Yandex.Store.
