Activision is trying to get a game off the ground taking advantage of the United States presidential  elections. The game is called Secret Service and aims to allow the player to become a Secret Service agent who must protect the leaders of the nation as Washington D.C. is attacked by dangerous terrorists on Inauguration Day.

The game will take the player on a very fast action packed journey through the most important places of power that are directly tied to the President of the United States. Levels will be set on Marine One, on Air Force One, in some parts of The White House, the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. All the weapons used by Secret Service agents and some of their gadgets will be available for the player as he tries to protect the leaders of the nation and find out who is behind the series of attacks on Washington D.C. The developers are also interested in offering the exact experience of an agent, with moments where you have to deal with panic and with the unforeseen consequences of some actions.

Dave Oxford, from Activision Publishing, declared that “This game is a unique addition to the first person action genre, with a rich storyline set across famous locations and the need to use both lethal and non-lethal force to achieve your objectives. Secret Service brings a nice refreshing spin to fans of run-and-gun games”.

Secret Service is said to be out by the end of the year and you will be able to play it on the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 2 and the PC. The price will not be that of an AAA title, which means that the game will not break any new ground, and the PC version will cost just 19.99 dollars.
