The eighth annual Linuxfest Northwest

LinuxFest Northwest takes place this year during April 28 and 29 at Bellingham Technical College in Bellingham, WA. In partnership with Bellingham Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Society, this year will include RoboExpo in the fest. RoboExpo will present funny demonstrations and presentations for serious facts from the technology world.

Friday, on April 27, during 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm the exhibitor setup will take place, where presenters may test A/V equipment in Haskell 22, setup that will start again Saturday on 28, from 8:00 am to 9:30 am. The fest itself starts Saturday at 9:30 am and lasts until 5:00 pm. Sunday, April 29, will start with the exhibitor setup from 8:00 am to 9:30 am and then the fest will run from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Volunteers are welcomed if they have any experience or skill that might help the organizers with different activities such as setting up the venue, providing security, assisting with presentations a.s.o. Among the supporters and participants, important names can be found, names like: Google, Oracle, Silicon Mechanics, O'Reilly, FreeBSD, Ubuntu. Linux Festivities will go on in downtown Bellingham, on Saturday night. The Fest also takes in the April Brews Day, a benefit for the Max Higbee Foundation, which provides community-based recreation programs for adults with developmental disabilities.
