For no less than 14 years, they were the golden couple of Hollywood from the shadows. Heartthrob Johnny Depp and model Vanessa Paradis seemed to hold the key to a solid relationship in showbiz – but not so anymore, claims a new report.
Radar Online claims to have it on very good authority that Johnny and Vanessa are most definitely heading for a split, since things have gotten so bad they can hardly see eye to eye.
As if that wasn't bad enough, the “Pirates” star is also seeing attorneys to talk how he could get out of the relationship in a way that would be as little disturbing to all parties involved as possible.
“Hollywood heavyweight Johnny Depp’s long term relationship with Vanessa Paradis is on the rocks Radar Online has exclusively learned, and the actor is struggling to deal with their crucial problems, says a source,” the e-zine writes.
They have had rough patches in the past but, right now, they're more than they can handle. Breaking up seems the only option at this point, Radar claims citing the unnamed but admittedly reliable source.
“Johnny isn’t handling anything well right now. People around him are worried about how Johnny is doing because he and Vanessa seem so fractured right now. Their relationship is heading toward the end,” says the spy.
The insider doesn't know what caused the problems or the rift, but there's a vague suggestion in the Radar report that Depp's hectic work schedule might have had something to do with it, in the sense that he and Vanessa were no longer spending as much time together.
“While Depp’s movies are doing well, his personal life may be falling apart,” says Radar.
The insider claims he's already spoken to various attorneys on which would be the best way to end the romance, especially since there are children to consider as well.
“Johnny has started reaching out to lawyers, probably to quietly discuss how to get out of the relationship. They’re not married but they’ve been together for years and have kids together so it isn’t as easy as just breaking up,” says the tipster.
The children might have already picked up on how tense things between Johnny and Vanessa are, since his efforts at keeping up appearances have failed.
“Johnny is so talented at acting, but he doesn’t seem able to hide how badly things are going right now,” the insider underlines.
