14 DAY TRIAL // Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis may no longer be together but the speculation on what transpired between them before they publicly announced they'd separated is just beginning. The actor is now linked to a bevy of women he reportedly dated even before the split.
Reports yesterday claimed that Depp had grown “bored senseless” with his partner of 14 years, French actress, singer and model Paradis, and that he'd been trying to get out of the relationship for at least a year.
Radar Online is now saying that one way of doing that was by seeing other women while he was still with Vanessa, including his own publicist, Robin Baum.
Besides allegedly sleeping with co-stars Eva Green and Amber Heard, Johnny has also been seeing Robin, the celebrity publication writes, citing unnamed sources close to the situation.
“Robin and Johnny spend a lot of time together obviously because of work but their relationship seems to be getting much closer than just business,” one such spy is quoted as saying.
“Robin is twice divorced and a mom but she and Johnny really seem to have some kind of crazy connection that goes way beyond a professional level,” adds the insider.
Vanessa knew of the affair but there was nothing she could do because, every time she confronted Johnny about it, she got the same invariable answer: it was all just business between them.
Still, “they travel a lot together for work and get to spend a lot of time together and they definitely have a total flirty vibe between them. I would put money on them having more than just a friendly relationship,” the spy wagers.
Because, as noted above, speculation on what went wrong is just starting to make the rounds, other reports claim that Depp has already moved on from his relationship with Vanessa with the gorgeous Amber Heard, who starred opposite him in “The Rum Diary.”
He even bought her a horse so they can go riding together, word has it – into the sunset, we presume.
