The 'Pirates' star confessed that he finally decided to act on the late legend Brando's advice and take a break from the movie industry for a while, in order to have the time to focus on the stage and to play Hamlet in William Shakespeare's play.

Depp told the press that Marlon wanted him to follow an acting career on the theater stage so that he would never have to live with the regret of not having done it. The legend himself confessed to Depp that he had always dreamed of taking on the challenge that Hamlet represents (or any one of Shakespeare's characters, for that matter of fact) but when he finally felt that he was ready, he was too old for it.

So, Depp announced that he is willing to give Hamlet and the theater a serious try, although he is positively terrified of the idea of performing live on the stage, in front of so many people. Surely, female fans can't object to getting so close to one of the most attractive men on earth.
