14 DAY TRIAL // Amber Heard was reluctant at first to go public with Johnny Depp, mostly because (I assume) people were still saying that she’d broken up his relationship with Vanessa Paradis. According to a new report, it was his promise that she’d go places that made her reconsider.
Insiders say for the latest print issue of The Enquirer (story via CB) that Depp promised Amber that she’d be “the next Angelina Jolie” as far as acting opportunities go but, soon after they went public, he forgot all about it.
“When they first started dating, he promised to help her become the next Angelina Jolie, but Johnny simply hasn’t followed through. Instead of finding exciting projects for Amber, or introducing her to TinselTown movers and shakers, he seems to block her from moving forward in her career,” says a spy.
“Apparently, she was offered the lead in the film version of the raunchy book 50 Shades of Grey but Johnny told her to say no to it because it would be too smutty,” adds the source.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, he’s also proving to be more boring than she could have ever anticipated, so Amber is considering breakup up with him. That, however, is an entirely different story.
