"Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" actor Johnny Depp recently confessed he doesn't think he was good enough for his ex-girlfriend, supermodel Kate Moss.

Depp, 42, who dated Kate Moss when he was younger, declared it was for the best that they split up, because they wished different things for their lives.

"I don't think I was very good for her," the Daily Star quotes Depp as saying. "So what we did was right - we walked away from each other.

She went on to bigger and better things, and I went on and fell in love and had kiddies", Johnny added.

Depp is the father of two children, Lily-Rose (1999) and Jack (2002), with his longtime companion, French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis. He and his family divide their time between Los Angeles and a villa in the South of France.

Johnny has also dated actresses Sherilyn Fenn, Jennifer Grey and Winona Ryder.
