14 DAY TRIAL // For those who don't remember the Golden Globes 2011, suffice it to say host Ricky Gervais took several digs at Johnny Depp, for which he apologized later. Depp is now getting back at him – and he does it in style.
Luckily, it's for Gervais' new comedy show, “Life's Too Short,” but it was fun pretending it was the real deal for a while.
Depp taped a cameo for the show and, in it, he makes Gervais eat his words at the Globes. Aside from teaching him a lesson in manners, Johnny also makes him see clearly that he's the bigger star of the two.
He makes more money and gets to work with the best people in the industry. And Helena Bonham Carter thinks Gervais is an idiot too.
The video is fun and clear proof that Depp is not the one to bear a grudge against anyone, even if they happen to “trash me in front of 200 million people,” as Gervais did at the Globes when he made fun of his and Angelina Jolie's poorly received “The Tourist.”
