According to insiders, Johnny Depp fell madly in love with Amber Heard while working together on “Rum Diary,” when he was still with longtime partner Vanessa Paradis. They dated briefly and then broke up, and got engaged after reconciling so now, he’s very afraid he might lose her again.

In fact, sources say for the latest print issue of Star magazine (story via CB), Depp is so terrified Amber might walk out on him again (since she did it so easily the first time!) that he won’t even dream of asking her to sign a prenup before tying the knot.

Useless to say, considering that Depp is one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood, amassing a very impressive fortune throughout the years, if any of this is true, he’s making a huge mistake in not being more careful about his finances.

As they say, you never know what the future might bring and, since we’re talking in clichés, it’s best to be safe than sorry.

“While some friends of the Transcendence actor, 50, remain wary of Amber’s intentions, he refuses to be anything but devoted,” says the report.

“She’s always wanted to be rich and famous. And she left a four-year relationship with a woman for him. But Johnny doesn’t want to do anything that may turn her off, such as asking her to sign a prenup. He’s crazy about her and has chased her for a long time,” an insider reveals for the publication.

The implication that Amber might not be as into Johnny as he is into her is right there, in the insider’s words of how she “always wanted to be rich and famous.”

That might not be entirely accurate but there’s no denying the fact that, since they started dating, Amber’s public profile went up. If she marries Johnny without a prenup, she will get half his money in the eventuality of a divorce and estimates say he’s worth about $350 million (€255.9 million).
