14 DAY TRIAL // For the past few months, John Travolta and Kelly Preston have been at the center of a media storm, with allegations about his orientation coming in from all sides. The duo put all rumors to rest on the red carpet the other night.
After several male masseurs stepped forward and sued the Hollywood actor for allegedly behaving in a very inappropriate manner, and one tabloid ran photos of him in drag, John and Kelly went under the radar for a while.
They came out last night on the red carpet at the premiere of Oliver Stone's “Savages,” in which Travolta also has a part and, truth be told, they acted in such a way as to show the press and the public that they still were very much together, very much in love.
The Daily Mail has the photos – several of them, in which they lock lips on the red carpet.
“John Travolta was putting on a brave front with his wife Kelly Preston at the premiere of Savages in Los Angeles tonight,” the Mail writes after summing up the many allegations made against him these past few weeks.
“The pair could not keep their hands off each other, and shared a smooch as they hammed it up for the event's photographers. The 58-year-old even playfully spun Kelly, 49, around and put his hands around her waist as they lapped up the attention,” the British publication further writes.
That Travolta might be gay is just one of the rumors that have been around forever. It's just recently though that these rumors picked up and various men went on the record to vouch that he was.
Just yesterday, reports were saying that the reason John and Kelly had flown to Hawaii was to see whether there was still something to be salvaged from their marriage.
Depending on which tabloid you believed, the holiday had either deepened the rift or made them decide to work harder on their relationship.
Judging by this new recent set of photos, we'd vote for the latter option.
