John Travolta and Olivia Newton John made a spectacular, very memorable pair in the classic musical “Grease” but, while they’re still a match vocally, their chemistry is awkward at best in video.
Above is the official video for their latest collaboration, a Christmas song called “I Think You Might Like It.”
To quote many commenters online, “you thought wrong.”
The cheesy and badly edited (and shot) video includes a special appearance from Travolta’s gorgeous wife Kelly Preston and their kids. If only to see his youngest son do a little dance, it’s worth watching.
Since the video emerged online, reaction to it has been scathing. I can’t reproduce some of the nastiest things said about it but suffice it to say that no one is feeling too appreciative of this early Christmas present.
