John Travolta Flew To Help Katrina's Victims

John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston decided to flew with their personal jet to deliver five tonnes of food to the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston, indignant by the lack of response from American authorities, decided to flew with their personal jet to deliver five tonnes of food to the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Travolta, a licensed pilot, flew to Baton Rouge, carrying the food supplies for the evacuees and more than 400 doses of tetanus vaccines. The couple then toured the flooded city of New Orleans and visited rescue workers and shelters for the victims.

Travolta said: "What we've seen in the shelters is wonderful, because people are being taken care of. What we've seen in the city is disastrous."

Amongst the other celebrities who visited the affected areas are Oprah Winfrey, Macy Gray and Sean Penn.

And Celine Dion, Nicolas Cage, Jerry Lewis, P.Diddy and Jay-Z donated $1million to the cause, while Britney Spears has offered a message of support on her website.

That was wonderful what he did he will truly be blessed for that. All those people in high postions and big money were all over the news barking loud but doing nothing, and then comes a man and his wife doing what there stalling on doing in a blink of an eye. GOD IS GOOD!!!!!
