John McAfee has told Fox News that the new Obamacare websites have no safeguards to protect personal data against cybercriminal schemes.

According to the eccentric billionaire, anyone can develop bogus Obamacare websites to trick unsuspecting users into handing over their personal information, which the crooks can later use to empty their bank accounts.

“This is going to happen, and it is going to happen very soon,” McAfee told Fox News.

He believes that all the problems experienced by the Obamacare websites – login issues, downtimes and false password reset notifications – are due to the fact that they’ve been “rushed into production.”

On Saturday, The New York Times reported that it might take up to two months to fix all the Obamacare websites, especially since addressing some of the issues could create new ones.
