John McAfee, the eccentric millionaire and founder of the world-renowned antivirus company, denied rumors which claimed that he died.

McAfee has published several messages and even a picture on Twitter to show that he’s alive and well after an article appeared in Indymedia Ireland (removed since for “breach of editorial guidelines”) claiming that he was dead.

“I felt fine when I went to bed last night. I had such great plans.. ‘RIP John McAfee’,” he wrote on Twitter a few hours ago.

He added, “For those wondering if im dead the answer is... ‘The Media is killing me, but somehow im still tweeting’ #NotDeadYet.”

The article in question cited people close to McAfee who claimed he died “as a result of a suspected cocaine and alcohol fuelled binge.” He was allegedly pronounced dead by a doctor at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Over the past period, John McAfee has made a lot of headlines. First, because of his disputes with authorities in Belize. Later, for allegedly killing his neighbor in Belize and running away.

Recently, he has started a video series, which includes a clip on how to “remove” the McAfee antivirus, and details of his adventures in Belize.
