Taylor Swift sure can't catch a break these days. A feminist doppelganger is busy parodying the lyrics of her songs on Twitter, and John Mayer has just released a new song which many say is a response to Taylor's “Dear John.”

John Mayer's new song, titled “Paper Doll,” is included in the album “Paradise Valley,” set to be released in the not so distant future. Check it out in the video below.

“You're like 22 girls in one / and none of them know what they're running from,” John Mayer sings.

Apparently, these lyrics are intended to be a response to Taylor's memorable and heartfelt “[I] regret how I ignored when they said ‘Run as fast as you can.’”

And then there's the “Someone's gonna paint you another sky” bit, which goes hand in hand with Taylor's reproach that, “You paint me a blue sky and go back and turn it to rain.”

Either these two celebs' love life is turning into one big musical and they absolutely have to sing everything that they want to say to each other, or this is just a coincidence. What do you think?
