Taking just one look at the new video for the Mayer-Perry collaboration called “Who You Love,” you can't stop but realize that this couple is at the beginning of their relationship. When else are two singers going to be featured in a cheesy slow-motion video riding a mechanical bull?

“Who You Love” can be considered in many ways similar to the “Bound 2” video made by Kanye West and featuring fiancée Kim Kardashian. Whereas Kim and Kanye were riding in a loving embrace on a motorcycle, Katy and John share a rough ride on a mechanical bull that makes them giggle.

The rest of the video is made up of footage of the couple snuggling together while they mouth the words to the song. They embrace, they play through each other's hair, the nuzzle at each other's necks and basically go though every public display of affection that friends usually dread.

Apart from conveying the very clear message of “look at us, we're in love!,” the video doesn't do much else. Maybe if you're Russell Brand, the “Who You Love” video might touch a nerve, otherwise you won't be feeling any tingling sensations.
