John Mayer Wants Jennifer Aniston Back

Indeed, the grass does seem greener on the other side. After breaking her heart years ago and doing so in a very public manner, John Mayer wants Jennifer Aniston back – and has been pursuing her relentlessly, it has emerged.

The former “Friends” star is now in a relationship with her “Wanderlust” co-star Justin Theroux and, as per most reports, she’s happy and quite serious about it.

Since she’s taken, Mayer seems to find her more appealing all of a sudden, says a source for the latest print issue of The National Enquirer (story via here).

As such, he’s been sending her countless text messages and love poems, in the hope that she may at least meet him face to face once, says the report.

“Jennifer is totally involved with Justin, and wants absolutely nothing to do with John. John broke Jen’s heart, but that doesn’t seem to faze him,” a source explains for the tab.

More than ever, he’s out to prove to Aniston that he’s a much better man than Justin or, at least, that he’s more suited for her than he is.

“He’s been relentless in his pursuit of Jennifer lately – texting her witty messages, sending love poems and calling to ask her out. But it’s been two years since they were together and Jen sees it as far too little too late,” the spy adds.

Not only that, but Justin is also working with an advantage as far as Aniston is concerned: he didn’t break her heart and publicly humiliate her.

“She feels she’s found a better, more responsible and reliable man,” adds the spy on why she wouldn’t take any of Mayer’s calls or respond to his text messages.

Speaking of breaking Jennifer’s heart, recent reports suggest that Theroux may be doing just that soon: he’s reportedly met with his ex behind her back, and is already thinking he may have rushed in the relationship with the A-list star, because she’s “suffocating” him.
