The latest Apple commercials promoting Siri on the iPhone 4S are now airing. Featuring John Malkovich, the ads put into light the personal, humorous side of Siri.

Titled “Joke,” one TV spot shows Malkovich sitting in an armchair sipping tea, asking Siri about the weather, his agenda for the evening, and finally about local restaurants that serve Linguica. The ad ends with a joke on behalf of Siri at the actor’s request.

“Life” shows a more profound side of Siri where the personal assistant gives Malkovich a reminder on how to live properly: “Try and be nice to people. Avoid eating fat. Read a good book every now and then. Get some walking in. And try to live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations.”

“That’s pretty spectacular advice, actually,” says Malkovich.
