Last week, word got out that Demi Moore's post-Ashton Kutcher rebound man was none other than “True Blood” hunk Joe Manganiello. It's not true, the actor tells the press at the premiere of his latest movie, “Magic Mike.”

Sources close to one of the two stars told the press that Demi and Joe had gone out on a couple of dates and were getting along just famously, as we also informed you at the time.

Moreover, he was helping her feel confident in herself again, for what we might assume were the obvious reasons: he's handsome and younger, and she had managed to go out with him.

None of that is true, Joe tells Us Magazine at the premiere of “Magic Mike,” in which he has a small part.

He isn't in the habit of talking about his private life but he will be making an exception this once.

“[I don't] care to talk about my personal life, unless it is to shoot down rumors that I'm dating someone – like what showed up on the internet this week,” Manganiello says, referring to reports that he and Demi were an item.

Ladies all over the world can breathe a sigh of relief.

On the same occasion, Joe promises the ladies a film they won't be sorry to see with “Magic Mike.”

“You have no idea what you are in for! You are going to be speechless. It's really to an honor to be a part of the movie, and when I found out Steven Soderbergh was directing, I was all in,” the handsome actor says.

As must be known, Demi Moore ended her 6-year marriage to Ashton Kutcher last year, after his name was dragged into another cheating scandal for the second time in two years.

He cheated on Demi with some blonde he picked up at a bar precisely on their wedding anniversary and, as expected, the girl went to the press with her story.

After announcing they had separated (they are still to file for divorce as far as the world knows), Demi went through a very rough patch even being rushed to the hospital after experiencing seizure-like symptoms, reportedly from doing whip-its.

She went to rehab and, after completing treatment, kept a very low profile.

Word on the street has it Joe was her first date since her marriage fell apart.
