There are few people out there today that could make a more convincing case about Justin Bieber and his whirlwind existence other than Joe Jonas. This is because, much like Bieber, Jonas was part of the industry and was a direct recipient of the fan adulation that comes with the status of pop star.

In an interview with Scene, Joe dishes out some of his own thoughts on why Justin's life has gone so terribly wrong, and surprisingly, he points a blaming finger at the Canadian singer's father, Jeremy Bieber.

The 24-year-old Jonas knows full well how difficult the transition from teen to adult is to make in the spotlight, but he credits his family with helping him the most in staying grounded and not flying off the handle.

“I’ve had an easier route than most. The youngsters just turning 20, the Biebers of the world, are under a microscope,” Joe says in his interview, wanting to point out the differences between him and the “Believe” singer, who is not that much younger than him.

Jonas believes that whereas Justin should find in his father Jeremy a model and a moral compass, he only finds an enabler, another good friend to party with, someone who will egg him on and not try to correct or restrain his wild antics.

“[Bieber] is having a very tough time finding balance. I think we all saw it coming. Your dad is your party animal — that’s going to sum it up pretty quick. There’s an equation for some sort of explosion,” Jonas believes.

If you remember, Jonas is not the first one to point a finger at Jeremy Bieber, the father that left the single mother with a young child and returned only when Justin had struck it rich. It seemed that wherever trouble followed Justin in 2014, his father was there, part of the entourage.

Most famously, he got into the eye of the press when it was mentioned that Jeremy was present at the time when his son was arrested in Miami for DUI and drag racing and it was alleged that he was in another car, trying to block the road so that his son could race.

Later, as Justin made bail, he was seen attending a drug and alcohol-fueled party, with his father right by his side, acting like nothing had happened. Jeremy fought the allegations that he was a bad father and told his detractors on social media “only God can judge me.”
