Hello Games has confirmed that PlayStation 3 users will be able to play their own version Joe Danger 2: The Movie, tomorrow, on October 9, when it's released for the North American PlayStation Store, and October 10, when it's out on the European marketplace.

Joe Danger came out back in 2010 on the PSN and delighted lots of PS3 users with its top notch side-scrolling racing experience.

Joe Danger 2: The Movie came out back in September for the Xbox 360 and now Hello Games is getting ready to deploy a special version of it onto the PS3 this week, which comes with a variety of extra content.

This content was originally made for the first version of the game and features an array of tougher tracks and challenges. According to Hello Games, these are imagined as a sort of Joe Danger Gaiden mode.

"It's actually a throwback to when we made the original Joe Danger," Hello Games founder Sean Murray told Joystiq about the extra content.

"As our guys sat in a room playing our own game, we fell into that classic trap of playing our own game too much. Our first prototype was this very tight, very challenging game that took about 10 hours to complete. No tutorials, no hand-holding, just fun arcade gameplay."

25 new stages are based on this extra content and will be featured in the game's Pro medals section and in the challenges mode. They'll also feature the return of Team Nasty, the bitter rivals of Joe Danger and will certainly delight those that want to try out biking skills.

Besides these new tracks, Joe Danger 2: The Movie will deliver the same impressive experience as it did on the Xbox 360 platform last month.
