Steve Jobs appeared Sunday night during the "D" Conference organized by Wall Street Journal and as usual, said almost nothing about Apple’s plans for the future.
One of the important pieces of information Apple’s quiet CEO was willing to give shed some light on the new iTunes, now at the 4.9 version.
The latest version of Apple’s music software, which will be released somewhere in the next two months, will include podcast support.
This feature, available until now only through third party applications, will allow users to submit and download pre-recorded content. Jobs also said he is considering releasing a tool that will allow users to sell their podcasts through iTunes Music Stores.
