IO Interactive has posted some new job listings, asking for various types of programmers to come in and work on a title that might just be Kane & Lynch 3.

The Scandinavian developer, famous for creating the critically acclaimed Hitman series, as well as the more recent and less acclaimed Kane & Lynch franchise, is on the hunt for some new talent, at least according to a batch of new job listings on its website.

Among the positions looking to be filled are quite a few programming roles that require multiplayer experience in order to deliver "a yet unannounced 3rd person game with strong cooperative multiplayer elements," just like the previous Kane & Lynch titles made by the studio.

Another "unannounced AAA action title" is also mentioned in the job listings, but it's unclear if it's the same as this possible Kane & Lynch 3.

The only confirmed project by IO Interactive is still Hitman: Absolution, which is scheduled to appear in 2012, published by Square Enix.
