The Polish military has recently decided to start using modern simulators to perform its medical training exercises, and thus cut all ties with animal cruelty and animal abuse.

Model and actress Joanna Krupa was delighted by the news, and even sent a letter to Poland's current Minister of National Defense, Tomasz Siemoniak, to congratulate the military on its decision to quit torturing animals.

“I know that the momentum created by Poland’s progressive example will encourage the five remaining NATO countries – Canada, Denmark, Norway, the UK, and the US – that still shoot, stab, burn, and kill animals in their military training drills to modernize their practices,” Joanna wrote in her letter, as cited by Look to the Stars.

Furthermore, “I am proud that my home country recognizes that the lives of animals matter and that there are more humane and effective ways to teach people how to perform lifesaving medical treatments than by hurting animals.”

Apparently, the Polish military decided that it would be best to use modern simulators instead of animals in its training exercises after a bunch of animal rights activists working with PETA sent it loads of information about how these simulators were more effective at teaching people basic medicine than animal model would ever be.
