Comedienne and television personality Joan Rivers has never been the one to mince her words but, until now, she’s never openly expressed a dislike of Jennifer Aniston. Until now, in a recent interview with Us Magazine.
Joan and her daughter Melissa have a lot to promote these days: Joan’s a fashion correspondent on the red carpet at the Oscars and, together with her daughter, has a new reality show out.
Still, the interview with Us was all about scandal: who had the best and worst plastic surgery, who they were looking forward to seeing on the red carpet and who they would tell off, if they had the chance.
Apparently, Joan is rather sick and tired of Jennifer Aniston, who keeps releasing one bad movie after another, making her (Joan) wonder who’s financing them all.
“I would like to take Jennifer Aniston and
put her hair over her [expletive]-ing face! I’m so bored with her and her stupid movies. They’re all the same, I don’t know how they get financed,” Joan says.
In the same interview, Joan also talks about how people assume celebrities all know one another – and even they, the stars, come to think that after a while.
She knows that from experience, too, having come across Nicole Richie once, who was certain they had met when they actually hadn’t.
The same happened with Leonardo DiCaprio, Joan says: she was on the red carpet, he was on the red carpet so they just walked towards one another, kissed on the cheek and said at almost the same time they were happy to meet again.
The very next second, both burst out laughing because they had just realized they hadn’t actually met before but having read so much about one other, they just felt like they did.
Joan and Melissa Rivers also put in their two cents about who has the best plastic surgery in Hollywood (allegedly) and that person is (allegedly) Demi Moore.
Since Joan is not actually a stranger to surgical interventions, she’s probably the best person to judge.
