JoWood Goes Hollywood for the Hardy Boys

This past September we have found out that JoWood has teamed up with The Adventure Company in order to bring fans all over the world the virtual experience of two of the most beloved mystery-solving teen detectives: the Hardy Boys. Even though we already know that we're talking about a franchise here - games are planned to be released over the next five years -, the first title, planned for a fall 2008 release and dubbed The Hidden Theft, will definitely decide the fate of the entire franchise.

Now, it's not like The Adventure Company doesn't know how to create great adventure titles, but a little help is always welcomed. That's the reason why JoWood has gone to Hollywood and came back with two beloved actors who are going to be responsible for the first game's voice acting: Jesse McCartney and Cody Linley.

"We are thrilled to be working with both stars on making The Hidden Theft one of the most captivating Hardy Boys mysteries to date."

In The Hidden Theft, Frank and Joe Hardy are called to solve the mystery of the Spencer Mansion, which is robbed and nobody seems to be able to find the criminal. In an adventure that will take them from Bayport to New York City, the Hardy Boys will have a hard time solving this crime since it seems that clues from the past mix with the present in a real drama of sinister proportions. But we're really sure you will have no problem solving the mystery and get ready for the next one (it hasn't been announced yet, but one should always be ready). And, if you happen to get stuck somewhere, at least you'll have a sweet voice acting from Jesse McCartney and Cody Linley to ease your pain.
