Developer of music visualizers, Jiv3D has announced the launch of a new iPad app that automatically syncs music with photos to create interactive audio displays. Jiv3D for iPad is iOS 5-supportec, but it also works on older firmwares, the developer said.Having in mind a photo and music visualizer that combines iPhoto images and iTunes music, Jiv3D set out to make an app that immediately generates interactive 3D scenes driven by the beat and tempo of the music.
They wanted to achieve this without any pre-production or configuration on the user’s end. And so, they did it!
“This is the most entertaining music and photo visualizer there is,” said Eric Thorsen, founder of Jiv3D. “Without requiring any pre-production, Jiv3D automatically generates unique, high-quality musical slide shows that include layers of interactivity and effects.”
The app comes with several themes which allow a variety of visual effects to be applied to the images in synchronized motion.
An environment where images can be manipulated via touch screen is also presented to the user. Once enabled, users can pin or hold images in place, freezing motion until released.
Background imagery can be selected and brought to the foreground with a single touch, and you can reverse the direction in which images travel.
Jiv3D anticipates some popular uses for the app, including:
- to share experiences with friends and families, at weddings, and birthdays
- to engage attendees at events; to create a welcoming atmosphere in a variety of retail, in-store and office environments;
- for entertainment purposes in hotels, restaurants, airplanes and transit terminals.Jiv3D is specifically tailored for the iPad’s big screen. Available for free from the Entertainment section of the iTunes App Store, Jiv3D is a small 1.2 MB download.
