Rosie O’Donnell, Star Jones are Kimmel’s picks, Barbara isn’t really denying it

Barbara Walters is officially retiring as co-host on The View, the show she started in 1997 that is still a fan-favorite, in May 2014 and, by the looks of it, she’ll be taking her secrets about her co-hosts with her.

Stopping by Jimmy Kimmel the other night for an interview, the TV icon gracefully avoided answering the question that he kept asking her, namely who out of the 10 co-hosts she’s had throughout the years would be her least favorite.

You can see this segment from the show in the video above.

Walters tries to joke her way out of the situation at first, saying she “hates them all” indiscriminately, but Kimmel isn’t to be stopped so easily, so he offers her his two choices: Rosie O’Donnell and Star Jones.

“I can’t even imagine it,” Barbara laughs at the pairing. “I think that could be a most interesting show. Yes, they’re both sort of laid back and quiet and easygoing. It wouldn’t be a hard show to do,” she says.

In the end, she says she’s “fond of both,” but, if you read in between the lines, you can probably see that she’s not being entirely honest. Still, props to her for being so diplomatic about the entire thing. She also has the most adorable laugh, don’t you think?
