Some bands are so obscure that they don’t even exist, Kimmel proves

Fans of Jimmy Kimmel’s show must already know of his Lie Witness News segment, in which he has reporters go out asking people about their take on things that never happened, to the most amazing results.

He did the same at Coachella 2013, which drew many celebrities and regular people alike, come together for their love of good music.

Check out the video above to see what kind of questions Kimmel had prepared for them. Hint: they involved bands “so obscure that they don’t even exist.”

However, before you start judging those people you see in the video, I’d like to point out that people online are saying the video is fake, in the sense that they were actually answering real questions, and not addressing the absurdities we hear in the clip.

One YouTube commenter notes that the reporter’s voice is dubbed in, which you can tell by the fact that she never speaks into the microphone, though you can hear her just fine.

As they say, something is probably rotten in the state of Denmark.
