14 DAY TRIAL // Jimmy Kimmel’s latest skit, a faux Facebook look back video, has gotten him in very troubled waters online, because, according to many, he’s being quite a jerk about Bruce Jenner’s rumored transition from male to female.
You can see the video in question above. It pretty much has Kimmel poking fun at the former Olympian turned reality star for the amount of plastic surgery he has had in recent years, which have made him look like a woman.
The video claims Jenner joined Facebook in 2004 “when you were a man.” “Now you're our weird Aunt Bess,” it says towards the end, right before comparing Bruce with the late pop star Michael Jackson in terms of the amount of surgical interventions had on the face only.
Considering reports that Bruce is now transitioning to woman, many have rushed online to call the video nothing short of brutal bullying in the guise of “comedy,” because trans people have it very difficult in life already without having someone as high-profile as Kimmel mock one of their members.
In response, those who found the video funny and who don’t necessarily believe rumors that Jenner is transitioning, are coming to Kimmel’s defense, saying whoever does what he has done to his face “deserves” to be publicly ridiculed.
