Jimmy Fallon Spoofs Kate Gosselin’s ‘Paparazzi’ Dance on DWTS

Kate Gosselin is having a very rough week and Jimmy Fallon is not making it easier for her. The mother of eight put on yet another disastrous act on Dancing With the Stars (though she was not voted off), and is now about to face her ex in court as he’s asking for full custody of the children. To add insult to injury, Jimmy Fallon also spoofed her robotic dance, as the Examiner and the video below can confirm.

For the paso doble, Kate and her partner, Tony Dovolani, chose Lady Gaga’s hit song “Paparazzi,” as they felt she could relate very well to its message, thus being magically able to emote and improve her dancing skills. Unfortunately, she remained just as robotic in moves as on her first dance on the show, with audiences and judges panning her performance. Jimmy Fallon’s take on her dance is just the icing on the cake, as they say.

On his Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show on NBC Tuesday night, comedian and actor Jimmy Fallon satirized reality show personality, Kate Gosselin. Ms. Gosselin danced a low-scoring paso doble on Monday night’s competition show on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. Dancing to Lady Gaga’s song, ‘Paparazzi,’ Fallon donned a jacket with the zig-zag striping reminiscent of Ms. Gosselin’s costume and proceeded to step around the floor of his studio, fall to the floor and do a worm-like move, roll around, and then grab the leg of his announcer,” the Examiner says.

The dance sequence is introduced by a brief announcement on Fallon’s behalf, in which he says he’s been attacked by the paparazzi again this morning. He then proceeds to the improvised dance floor, red jacket and blonde ponytail (complete with red flower) and everything. The entire thing is downright hysterical precisely because Fallon is not mocking Gosselin: he’s actually doing about the same moves as she did, and has just as much grace and flexibility as she does, it is being said.
