Summer may be upon us, but shoe master extraordinaire Jimmy Choo is ready to launch his fall-winter ad campaign featuring the beautiful American supermodel Angela Lindvall. The ads will premiere in the
August issues of such high-end fashion magazines as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and British Vogue, and will allow fans of the luxury fashion designer an insight into his latest models of women's shoes and handbags.
The ads depict Lindvall lounging at the Plaza Hotel, showing off various Jimmy Choo accessories. Famed photographer Terry Richardson was in charge of the shoot and he put all his efforts into creating a refined, slightly decadent atmosphere of subtle yet extremely intense luxury. In one of the shots, Lindvall is depicted arriving at the hotel in a limousine, clutching a black python Lohla Jayne bag and wearing patent Helena boots, while in another one only her tanned legs are shown leaving the hotel via its revolving door wearing a pair of Glint suede booties.
"I chose to work with Terry Richardson because of his inimitable style and the way he captures women as modern, glamorous and independently confident", revealed Tamara Mellon, president and founder of Jimmy Choo. And indeed, Angela Lindvall - who has taken over from the likes of Molly Sims and Nicole Richie as the face of the world-famous shoemaker - does an extremely good job conveying the brand's staple blend of exclusive quality and appealing design.
