Madonna loves Judaism and apparently more and more Jews love Madonna, who now insists to be called Esther.

Several hits released by the Kaballah-studying pop queen will be interpreted by the famous singer Regina Spektor at the upcoming Jewish Music & Heritage Festival in New York.

Madonna, who has recently accompanied her husband, director Guy Ritchie, to the Toronto International Film Festival world premiere of Ritchie's film "Revolver" at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Canada, is honored by the appreciation od the Jewish community in her home country.

Among the important names to be featured at the event are Billy Joel, Carole King and Randy Newman.

Meanwhile, late punk icon Joey Ramone will be honoured posthumously with the festival's Lifetime Achievement award during a ceremony on 19 September.
