After yesterday we brought you the first pictures of Asus' upcoming 990FX Sabertooth motherboard, today it is time to take a look at one of Jetway solutions for the upcoming AMD Bulldozer processors.

This yet-unnamed board is built using AMD's 990X chipset which is paired together with the SB950 south bridge controller.

The first thing that one notices when taking a look at Jetway's creation is that the company has decided to go with an unusual layout which takes the PWM from its regular spot and moves it right to the edge of the board.

It's hard to say how this modification will affect the ergonomics of the motherboard, but what is certain is that the PWM features a pretty simple design which seems to use only 4+1 phases.

While this should be definitely enough to power AMD's upcoming Bulldozer processors, overclocking will most certainly be hampered, so this is definitely one motherboard that we won't see in enthusiast grade systems.

Outside of the new PWM location, the placement of the south bridge chip has also been modified and now this sits right near the 990X chipset.

These are both cooled by the same aluminum heatsink which is placed right near one of the board's two PCI Express x16 slots (x8 when both are populated).

Other expansion options include a pair of PCI Express x1 slots, a legacy PCI slot, a mini PCI-E slot and the board also features six SATA 6Gbps ports that are driven by the SB950 controller.

Around the back, Jetway's creation features a pair of PS/2 ports, six USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port, 7.1-channel audio with coaxial S/PDIF out and a CMOS button.

No details regarding pricing and availability were made public, but this motherboard isn't expected to make it out of China, as none of Jetway's more recent products were launched in other parts of the world. (via VR-Zone)
